City lights drowning in the background
As I watch them slowly fade away
Goodbyes are never easy
Especially if we all go a separate way
New beginnings in the sunlight
But I do not know where to begin
As I watch friendships made
Quickly come to a halting end
I do not know where we will be
Five years from today
But maybe our hearts will remember this day
